Look at the hyphae. Mycelium is pure white, high in viscidity, and thick, short and dense. If there are green, yellow, red, cyan, and gray hyphae, it is a strain that has been infected with bacteria and needs to be eliminated.
Look at the ear base. Between the bottle wall and the material, if there is no light black ear base is a good strain, there are a small amount of ear base is a normal strain, if too much, the number of passages is too much, although the ears are early and many, but not much The output is low.
Pay attention to sediment. If the bottle wall has no or only light brown gum, it is a qualified species; if it has a brownish liquid, it is an old strain and cannot be purchased.
Look at the bacteria. There are hyphae on the surface of the woody bacterium species, and sawdust is no longer visible. The lumps are not bulky when excavated. If the mold has dried up, it is not available.
Pay attention to smell. Unplug the tampon, smell the smell of bacteria, it is a qualified product; if the issue of odor of wine acid, moldy smell, etc., it is a metamorphic strain, is not available.
Use cleverly. If the strain culture time is too short or the temperature is too low, the mycelium does not overgrow the whole bottle or the hyphae do not grow into the wood chips. It should continue to be cultivated at appropriate temperature and then used for inoculation. If the seedlings of the right age cannot be inoculated at once, they should be stored in a clean, dry and dark room. Prior to inoculation, it is forbidden to unplug the tampon. It is not advisable to inoculate the bacteria that have been bottled in order to prevent contamination with bacteria.
