According to a recent developmental study published online by the British journal Nature on the 23rd, the “organizer”, a cell group that has long existed in theoretical hypothesis to help organize and guide embryonic development, was first proven Exist in human tissue. The study provides a new model for early embryo development and establishes a system that promotes a better understanding of how these cells work.

In 1924, Hans Speman, the pioneer of experimental embryology, and Hilde Mangold, the mother of embryology, teamed up to transplant a small piece of a sputum embryo into another 蝾螈 embryo. After the soft tissue, it was found that the host cell formed another embryo, that is, the soft tissue of the host gradually developed into the soft tissue transplanted in the past. They refer to the transplanted area as the "organizer" because it organizes the host cells around them and directs the cells to develop as needed.

The “organizer” has always existed in the hypothesis of biological theory and is considered to be a group of cells that help organize and guide embryonic development. Until recently, in a new study, scientists have demonstrated for the first time that they actually exist in the human body through human stem cell experiments.

Ali Blywello, a researcher at Rockefeller University in the United States, and colleagues used a special microplate to grow human embryonic stem cells and treated them with growth factors that induced these stem cells to form "organizer"-like tissues. Then, the cell population was transplanted into the chicken embryo, and as a result, the surrounding host cells were induced to form elongated nerve tissue, showing its tissue ability. The researchers said that "organizers" should be highly conservative in the animal kingdom and have little or no change in long-term evolution.

Scientist Oliver Perkui believes that the research team used human stem cells to obtain an organization that exhibits "organizer" characteristics, thereby establishing a system that promotes a better understanding of how these cells work. (Reporter Zhang Mengran)
