Microscopes, as precision laboratory instruments, require special care. If you don't pay attention, it will cause pollution of the lens. So how should the Olympus microscope CCD and lens be contaminated when it is contaminated? Don't be afraid, after learning the following knowledge, your microscope will be like the new one.
First, the cause of the stain on the microscope and the lens:
1. If the stain is on the lens, it may be that during the experiment, some liquid splashed from the box onto the lens.
2. If the stain is on, it may be that some small particles such as dust are deposited between the lens.
Due to the charging characteristics of the CCD during operation, a large amount of static electricity is often accumulated on the surface of the CCD , which is easy to adsorb dust. But users don't have to worry too much, they are not directly exposed, they are covered with a layer of filters, which are made of coated optical glass, which are placed on top of the real sensor. There is a gap between the filter and the sensor. When people mention cleaning sensors, they are often worried about damage. In fact, as long as it is not very violent, cleaning will not hurt the baby.
Second, determine the location of the stain:
Please minimize the aperture and turn on the preview for a light, pure background.
Please rotate the camera and check if the stain in the preview window is followed.
If the stain does not turn, the stain is on the camera or lens.
Please rotate the lens to see if the stain is following.
If the stain turns, the stain is on the lens.
If the stain does not turn, the stain is on the camera.
Third, the solution:
First of all, you should determine if you really need to clean your Olympus microscope. If the dust is not too big to be tolerated, then wait. Clearing the stain is a cumbersome thing. My experience is that the stain is easy to rub more and more, so we suggest that if it does not affect the imaging (usually it is easier to see when the aperture is small, the aperture will disappear), please Try not to clean.
Of course, if it really affects imaging, we need the following items:
1. High-purity alcohol, used to wipe the lens or a mixture of the surface of the filter and anhydrous alcohol,
2. Advanced air blower is used to remove dust and foreign matter. The air blown balloon will have particles falling inside the rubber after aging, and will blow out with the airflow. At that time, your lens cleaning tool became a lens killer.
3. Advanced long-fiber lens paper; before wiping the lens with a lens paper, be sure to clean the entire handle with soap. Remember to leave no oil stains, especially those naturally secreted by the human body.
4. Fir or pine sticks are wound on the tip of the lens to wipe the objective.
Note: Using your mouth to blow the dust on the lens will bring the saliva to the lens to erode the lens. Drying the lens with lens paper or buckskin will easily scratch the lens.
(1) Use a blower to blow off the dust on the lens.
(2) View the effect in the preview window.
(3) If there is any attachment that cannot be blown off, use a lens paper brush to gently brush off. After the lens paper is unsealed, a roll is taken into a small roll and torn from the middle. The dust formed on the lens is brushed off by a brush formed naturally. The remaining lens paper should be sealed to prevent dust from falling.
(4) View the effect in the preview window.
(5) If there is still a stain, use the & lens stick to wipe it with a blower.
(6) View the effect in the preview window.
(7) If there is any stain, use a lens paper stick to wipe the cleaning solution, dry it a little, and wipe the mirror in a spiral shape from the center. Do not go back to the road and use the blower.
(8) View the effect in the preview window.
(9) Repeat the operation until you are satisfied.
