The disease mainly damages the root and neck of the grapes. In the early stage of the disease, the epidermis appears water-soaked and irregularly brown spots. Then, the surface of the mycelium grows white mesh with silky sheen, and gradually increases until it covers the entire root. The neck finally spreads to the soil surface. The victim's root and neck cortex rots, and it can even spread to the main vine. The degree of decay can sometimes reach deep into the xylem. Later on the surface of the diseased tissue and nearby soil, many sclerotia brown in size like rapeseed can be grown. The disease also harms the ear near the ground, causing fruit rot, and the surface of the diseased grain also produces a white layer of mycelium. The soil is heavy, low-lying and high-temperature, humid conditions are conducive to disease.

2 grape white peony disease prevention methods:

2.1 disinfection of seedlings. The agent is thiophanate-methyl or carbendazim or lime water, and the seedlings are soaked for 10 to 30 minutes before planting.

2.2 Strengthen management. In the middle of May, 50% carbendazim and 50% phoxim solution were applied in combination with control root-knot nematodes for two consecutive times at 7-day intervals. In August and November, do not apply 250 times each of the same amount of Bordeaux mixture, which can effectively control the spread of the disease.

2.3 Excavate the cut off ditch and block the ward. At the periphery of the diseased plant, cut off the ditch and block the ward.

2.4 After the symptoms appear in the above-ground part of the tree, the soil around the main root of the trunk is opened and dried to suppress the disease.
