Many adult women now have gynecological diseases. According to statistics, more than 95% of women have had at least one gynecological disease. Cervical cancer, as a kind of cancer with long incubation period and low survival rate, has always threatened women's life safety. In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer has risen year by year, and the age of onset has declined year by year, making it the second-largest female cancer in China. According to the latest data from 2009, there are 130,000 new cases of cervical cancer in China every year. Cervical cancer patients under the age of 35 account for 1/3 of the cases. The age of women in urban areas is earlier than that in rural areas.
The Daan Medical Laboratory in Anhui Province conducted statistical analysis of cervical cancer screening data of 120,922 women from January 2013 to January 2014:
1. A total of 3252 positive cases were found by screening. The positive rate was 2.69%. The positive cases included atypical squamous cell hyperplasia with high intraepithelial lesions, low intraepithelial lesions, atypical squamous cell hyperplasia, and high epithelial cell lesions. Wait.
2. The age range for screening for cervical cancer is generally between 35 and 65 years old. There are also some women who are not in this age group. For example, 6945 women under 35 and 973 women over 65 are also involved. Screening.
3. The investigators performed statistics on all age groups, with the lowest prevalence rate of 1.58% and the highest rate of 3.08%. The prevalence rate increased with age.
4. Among them, the peak age group of low-grade intraepithelial lesions and high-grade intraepithelial lesions were 41-45 years old group and 56-60 years old group, respectively, which was backward compared with the previous age peak suggested by experts.
5. Statistics also found that the positive rate of women over the age of 65 reached 3.08%, and the highest prevalence rate in this statistic;
6. In the subjects under 35 years of age, the positive rate was 1.58%. Although the overall incidence was lower than the average, the prevalence of high-grade lesions was relatively high.
According to this expert's suggestion, the screening population of cervical cancer should extend to two groups of young and old people, that is, reduce the minimum age and increase the maximum age so that more women who may have cervical cancer can be found early and treated early.
What is cervical cancer?
Cause 1. Sexual life factors: Cervical cancer is closely related to sexual life and female fertility. Women who have sexual disorders, unclean sex, or early marriage and childbearing, and have many births are very likely to develop cervical cancer. Early marriage refers to women who were married before the age of 18. Early pregnancy is a child born before the age of 23, and the more births, the higher the incidence of cervical cancer. Women who have unclean sex and too many sexual partners can easily cause cervical damage and cause cervical cancer.
Reason 2: Prepuce: Men's prepuce is also one of the causes of cervical cancer. Male foreskin is prone to hiding dirt. The cholesterol in the smegma is easily transformed into a carcinogen after bacterial action. It not only causes cancer in the penis of men, but also acts on women, and can cause the onset of cervical cancer.
Cause 3: Human herpesvirus type II, which is transmitted through sexual intercourse, has an inseparable relationship with cervical cancer.
Cause 4, excessive female hormones and metabolic abnormalities.
Who are susceptible to cervical cancer?
In 1 human papillomavirus (HPV) infected patient, 96.7% of cervical cancer patients had HPV infection;
2 genital herpes virus infection; 3 more than sexual partners: a US study shows that: number of sexual partners ≥ 10, accounting for 36% of new cases of cervical cancer, indicating multiple sexual partners and cervical cancer in situ and cervical cancer All have obvious correlations;
4 Early marriage and multi-professionals: The prevalence of having sex before age 18 is 3 times higher than 21-25 and 7 times higher than 26 years old. Because the genital tract is not yet mature, it is sensitive to the stimulation of carcinogenic factors. Once infected with certain bacteria or viruses, it can easily lead to cervical cancer.
5 cervical dysplasia: especially moderate and severe dysplasia patients, cervical erosion, if not actively treated, it may be transformed into cervical cancer;
6 Oral contraceptives, smoking, and low-income people are also high-risk people with cervical cancer.
