Meat rabbit common feed additives

Feed additives are certain trace components that are added to the feed to supplement nutrients, improve feed efficiency, and promote the growth and health of rabbits.

Amino acid additives

In the absence of lysine, the meat rabbits in the growth phase are very sensitive and often cause growth arrest and imbalance in nitrogen balance. Lysine is one of the most essential amino acids in the diet of rabbits mainly based on cereal feeds. According to the nutritional needs of rabbits, the requirement of lysine in diets is 0.6%-0.8%.

Methionine is the most important sulfur-containing amino acid in amino acids. When it is deficient, it tends to grow poorly and lose weight. Methionine in the diet is often calculated together with cystine. The sum of the two is 0.6%-0.7%.

In the absence of tryptophan in rabbits, growth stagnation, weight loss, testicular atrophy, and fertility decrease in female rabbits. According to nutritional needs, the amount of tryptophan in the diet is 0.18%-0.22%. Vitamin Additives

Vitamin A. Yellow crystals are easily oxidatively destroyed in light and air. Commonly used doses for growing rabbits per kilogram of diet should contain vitamin A580 international units.

Vitamin E. Colorless crystals are easily oxidatively destroyed in light and air. Growing rabbits should contain 50 mg of vitamin E per kilogram of diet.

Vitamin D. Colorless crystals are not easily oxidized but are easily destroyed by mixing with calcium carbonate. Growth rabbits should contain vitamin D900 international units per kilogram of diet.
