Feeding strategies for gestating sows at the beginning of production. In the actual feeding process, most of the newly born sows are reared in the same manner as the sows, which is not good for the first sows. Because the thickness of the P2 backfat is in the normal range of 18-22mm after gilt breeding, no more energy is needed to increase the reserve of backfat; the thickness of the P2 backfat has been reduced to below 18mm after weaning sows are weaned. Management measures after weaning. For gilts who have too much weight loss, excessive backfattage, and severely damaged basic nutrient reserve after the end of lactation, the first estrus can be fed with the first estrus and the high standard nutritional feed can be used for 21 days. The two estruss are mated again. Allow the back to meet the requirements of mating (18 to 22 mm) or almost to the mating requirements.
